Genetic investigation and applications for the Technological Transfer to Companies and Administrations related to Aquaculture and Environment
Acuigen group of the USC Genetics Department, it is a wide and experienced team whose trajectory begins in 1987. The group is a member of the USC Aquaculture Institute, registered in the Investigation group List of the Public System of Galicia I+D+i. Acuigen is a Group of Competitive Investigation in the Galician University system from the year 2006.
Scientific activity of Acuigen is centered in Genetics topics and applications to the aquaculture and the conservation of biological resources. Its activity is supported by numerous publications in international journals and by an important number of public projects and contracts with companies.
Scientific activity has a clear projection towards the Technological Transfer to Companies and Administrations related to the aquaculture and the environment.
