Genetics for Aquaculture and Conservation Biological resources

Genetic investigation and applications for the Technological Transfer to Companies and Administrations related to Aquaculture and Environment

Industrial technological transfer

The scientific activity of the Acuigen Group has an important focus on Technological Transfer to Companies and Administrations related to aquaculture and conservation. In accordance with this thought,  GENEAQUA company was founded in 2012; Geneaqua is a Technology-Based Innovative Enterprise (EIBT), spin-off of the University of Santiago de Compostela that focuses its activity on providing genetic services to aquaculture companies, facilitating the improvement of their production in a profitable and sustainable manner, based on the application of molecular genetics technology and related fields.
