Interests

I am interested in different topics about functional genomics of turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) and my research focuses on molecular marker design; data base analysis and functional annotation of sequences; microarray design and statistical analysis. Also, I am interested in the analyses of the differences in morphological quantitative traits and the population genetic differentiation of three spine stickleback (Gasterosteus aculeatus).

Currently, I am taken on by investigation projects by Genetics Department of Veterinary Faculty of Campus of Lugo.

My current interests are:

  • Bioinformatics.
  • Statistical analysis of microarrays.
  • Functional genomics.
  • Geographic differentiation.
